Health Care Challenges and Issues

Abstract:

Many policy makers, medical practitioners and industry experts consider hat US healthcare system face crisis. From known demographic trend and rising costs of health care are taken as large part in the public sector, federal budget simulation in long term represent a deficit in growing structure. The fastest growing sector in health care is considered as prescription drugs. US health outcomes are lag instead of other industries so they are now spend more than 15% of gross product on health care sector. Because previous study show that Americans not spend sufficient money on their healthcare so the patients not receive high quality treatment with proper and high quality medication. Fundamental issue to redesign the present health care system by creating proper difference between sustainability, needs, affordability and wants. Americans has to adopt new and latest technologies with high class health facilities. But if high amount spend on only this sector due to expensive health care facilities than other sectors must be neglected and the overall impact on economy is going down. So proper solutions has to be prepare related to different issues or problems in the healthcare sector to give more better results and facilities. (gao.gov, 2002)

Proposal:

Due to change in the healthcare market, all hospitals and health system feel a lot of pressure to develop more basic skills to face all the challenges and problems. Executive of healthcare evaluating every clinical, governance and operational functions through improving their performance. They have ability to bring stakeholders with them through strong leadership, ability to act on their decisions and make a strong vision for the future development. Now marketing involve two elements related to healthcare; value based purchasing and reimbursement fee for service. The main issue is to develop all the strategies to face the issues of future without creating any financial problem. For value based purchasing proper infrastructure has to develop. So the overall health care system has to face different challenges and proper methodologies have to adopt to overcome these challenges. (Mosquera, JAN 06, 2014)

Challenges of Health Care:

  1. Containing Basic Cost of Operating:

The executive of healthcare need to adopt all approaches help in the core operation costs, manage care variations and minimize usage through standardization. Many organization of high performance take a system approach that is tough and clear related to extra utilization of costs. The difference between the quality and current costs must be significant. Operation efficiency must be maintained by managing supply chain efficiency and optimizing the staff. For reaching the next level of advantage it is compulsory to provide with right persons at right time and right place also minimizing the extra services and pay attention on basic values. In last many years, different strategies and approaches are prepared and used with the help of government and individual support to increase the operational cost in the health care sector more than their limit. At government level, more and more spending has to occur on different Medicare and Medicaid but in a limited budget. Business and government ask to public to pay more for their health insurance so they can maintain a sufficient amount for managing all related expenses related to healthcare system. Because the new technologies, medication and machinery required high amount of investment in this field and economic condition also matter a lot in this regard. So according to requirement and need of people according to environment and atmosphere, health care sector has to arrange before time all precautionary measurements related to all patients and provide them extra facilities so they get in their own country all medical facilities which provide them benefit in the future also.

  1. New and Reemerging Infectious Diseases:

After 1990s, different new diseases are going to found in the people related to chronic diseases, different infectious diseases, respiratory syndrome, increase in HIV/AIDS, multi drug resistant bacteria etc. all these type of diseases are become new challenge for the government and healthcare sector. Because before the introduction of these diseases, there was no proper medication related to these diseases and many people die due to no medication. But healthcare start proper working on these diseases and find out better medications and treatments which is required for handle these diseases and affordable and sufficient medical facilities provided to patients. So every new disease become a major issue for the health care system and this sectors including their medication team members has to deal with this with in time to save many people from such diseases. Now, different scientists and doctors are always busy to search out better and better medication and treatment to handle all these type of diseases with many others. So it’s easy for them to handle all diseases and provide better and on time medical facilities to required patients. (Robert J. Blendon, 2018)

  1. Technological Advancement are Changing the Healthcare Industry Completely:

The introduction and application of new and latest technologies are become major requirement in all healthcare sectors. With the passage of time, new diseases are facing by many hospitals and medicine industries and with this new medication and new technologies also required to deal with diseases and provide sufficient results to patients. Some new technologies are discuss below; devices of wearable tracking: these devices are used by patients to monitor their physical health , all activities which help in making better their health, pattern of sleep, consumption of calories and many others. This technology helps different patients to improve their health care and many patients are interested to utilize these devices. Increased data demand; data is required at every level to make better planning and decisions. So all related data must be kept by physicians or hospitals that help them in better researching and developing new advancement in technologies. Enterprise data warehouse is also prepared for this purpose. They kept all technical and non technical data to patients to analyze the real time data. This helpful in accuracy of data for growth, high quality access and better analytics tools. Patient centered care; the main purpose is to provide maximum satisfaction to patients and their engagement. Now patients want best medication according to their requirement and select the process of medication as they select many other utility items. Data security; is also major concern for all hospitals or medication centers. Medication provider and payers take lot of care to violation of health insurance portability and accountability act which may adverse the reputation of organization. (brown, 2018)

Paper of Integrated Role Base Access Control for Intelligence Building

Abstract:

Role base access control is a methodology for enforcing and specifying the access control policies of an organization. Role base access control is considered as generalize approach to access control due to its easy to use and flexibility. This approach used in every industry from health care to web based applications. Its usage going to increased in web based applications because of protection and availability of data. These availability and protection rules are work with policies as a person work in an organization. Different formal methods are used in role base access control. But it is not always clearly mention that how these control models work with applications and it is not easy to take view of access control policy. So different type of control models are used in development of intelligence as they required a high security policies and rules that help in protection and safeguard the whole data and system. These control permissions are issue different roles and these roles linked with users. And this permission facilitates the management of access control. Its NIST model show that role base access control is a sum of different elements, set of elements and their relationship that specify the control system. Basic elements in this access control are objects, operations, permissions, roles and users. In RBAC object means to take some information. Operation belongs to specific application user functions. User may be a human being or an intelligence autonomous agent or any machine. Role belongs to job description in an organization having some responsibility or authority. Permission means that authority given to perform any function in the system. Model also explain a session in which user perform some roles assigned to him. (Zafar, 2006)

Proposal:

Role based access control is consider as most well known approach related to security administration. This model assigns the roles which allocate proper access to exact users that perform their responsibilities in an organization. Roles are assigning in a form of hierarchy.

This role based access control is help in many fields to produce better access information with high security. Different building information models are used in complex environment to facilitate the access control. Access control which belong to critical infrastructure and smart buildings. We have all detail analysis of spatiotemporal authorization system and in regard to complex system, systematically analysis the short comings. So detail building information and related technology standards are provided to study in detail. Novel authorization framework also defines which explain the requirements; improve the efficiency of authority and flexibility in critical infrastructure. (Skandhakumar, 2009)

Challenges and Issues:

  1. Selection of most appropriate model according to nature of organization:

The usage of integrated role base access control is applicable according to requirement of nature of business. Different business has different specifications which belong to its operation system. All data and information are kept in a proper systematic way to get access only for authorized persons. So such type of security access model should be applicable in the organization which not easy access by unauthorized person and not leak the authentic information easily. Some business need high security related to its production or all information related to their customers or link contacts. So access control model must be develop according to need of business because sometime business not require high security so in such type of business high security is useless. One most important thing is that organization access control must be applicable to all the management of organization and executive persons are also responsible for the security issues of organization. So nature of business or organization may vary the access control model of intelligence.

  1. Access control policies must be relevant to dynamic changes:

Before few years, methodologies related to access control are almost same for all the areas. But now access on any network must be fluid and dynamic, application based use and supporting identity. Reasonable access control can be used dynamically against every risk factor which helps in changing the employees and data resources to keep the damage less. All organizations have to assure about the technologies that they must be consistent and supportive with all applications and assets and these can be migrated smoothly in new environment. So before applicable all the access control models organization has to be sure about the policies which can be easily modified according to market and environmental condition in the organization. So they are easy to use and easily applicable in huge level organization and modified as per requirement.

  1. Persistence Policies:

All the policies of access control model must be very much consistent with the policies and rules and regulations of organization. As the developer of control access model know that access control model used in different scenarios and have to perform various duties in onetime. So according to market condition and industry requirement all the access control models must be develop and most important thing is that their policies must not break the security rules of model. As all the rules or policies are prepare on some basis and these basis must be consider positive for all related securities issues. So access control model must be kept all those policies which are work with consistency and suitable for all environmental changes according to need of users. Because access control model only become successful if they match and applicable in all type of environments.
