Youth Involvement In Scouting And Civic Engagement In Adulthood
Overall personal experience while going through this is really good and positive. I came to know that the highest rank is given to Eagle Scouts in the BSA (Boy Scouts of America). The mediator choice in the research is really impressive i.e. PYD (Positive Youth Development) framework that, I believe, should be carried out in the future as well, because the importance of 5Cs is highlighted by it i.e. Competence, Confidence, Character, Connection, and Caring. The point is to be noted that PYD’s five Cs model is useful and the research has used it effectively while framing the study.
After going through the research, I learnt and came to know about the background of PYD that when and how it was started and by whom. I learnt the importance of five positive characteristics in the scouting that, I believe, should be carried out in the future. On the other hand, the research has briefly explained the nexus between civil engineering and five positive characteristics. The sample size seemed to be very effective that tells the reader about the originality and hard work of the research. Overall the research is really good, but I just want to suggest one thing that the research would have been simplest to be understood by the common man as it has some difficult terms used in the research. Moreover, the research should have included the limitations for future research.
