Before introducing something in a market one must know the needs of people. If we talk about the needs of students of IAS, basic need of the students is the proper seating arrangement in cafeteria. Due to improper seating arrangement and less garbage bins in cafeteria, students sit in grounds and liter the wrappers and all waste materials near trees. There are no chairs and tables in existing cafeteria, hence making it difficult for students to enjoy their meals with proper hygiene. We are fulfilling the needs of IAS’ students to provide a calm atmosphere where students can sit.
The second need to be addressed is the food for students. The student body craves for more variety from which they can choose. Not just from the eatables perspective but also from the budget perspective. We would like to introduce freshly ready to be picked items in correspondence to the student’s budget. This will not only inculcate a clean environment but an overall good sophisticated place to eat with ease.
“Bluefina” is a place where students can get the best out of atmosphere and variety of food. Bluefina is basically an outdoor activity with an aim to provide a calm atmosphere to the students. Mission
Bluefinais a great place to eat, combining an intriguing atmosphere with excellent, interesting food. The mission is not only to have great tasting food, but have efficient and friendly environment. We will combine menu variety, atmosphere, ambiance, special theme days.
Vision
Our vision is to provide a unique and innovative dining atmosphere for the students.
Marketing:
Target market
Our target audience will be the students of IAS.
We will operate an online facebook page through which we will be available to our target market and carry out marketing through this platform. We will display charts on different locations of University of the Punjab.
Finance Budget:
Our initial budget is 35,000. Every group member has invested 7,000 individually. Major part of our budget is spent on chairs and tables. Some investment is made on chart papers and dust bins. Then for variety of food items there will be different food stalls which will be totally our investment.
Human Resource
We are contacting administration of IAS and asking them to provide support. We would need 2 or 3 labor force. We are five members in a group. We are taking responsibilities of different disciplines i-e one member will be responsible for marketing, one will be for finance, one will be for procurement, one will be human resource services . One member will be a chief executive officer. We are requesting administration of IAS for labor support and to provide 2 labors.
