Training is important for employee satisfaction and developing the interpersonal skills. Training and development play an effective role in the productivity of any organization, all organizations need to train and develop their staff, if they want achievements and success. Most of the organizations invest their efforts in other programs other than training and development; that organization can never get success, and cannot properly run their business. Training and development needs good management; appropriate expertises are needed to maintain the practices. For the productive future, appropriate skills are required, to understand how important training or improving job performances is.

Importance of Training in Human Resource

In managing human resource within any organization, training is the most important skill, used for the improvement in existing situation, training activities train the employees for the future challenges, employees must be trained for the career needs. Training enables the employees to perform better than they are currently doing; they also get the higher responsibilities for the future (Noe, 2012). The development programs are should be implemented, training and development is the system, which best helps the organization to attain and achieve their objectives. Training is the planned effort, by an organization, which involves the skills, behaviors for a successful job performance. The training programs should be implemented on the existing and newly recruit staff, so their performance will be better and they will show continuous effort towards marinating the organizational culture.

Training and training plans should be implemented by the organizations; training should be based on identification of the effective needs. Leading companies have proper initiatives and they are customized to, specific training in the company. To approach the quality needs training department, must approach the company needs and train the employees accordingly. Training of the employees, managers and other workers of the organization is important for the present and future health of the organization, training fulfill the personal goals of organization and help the organization to cope up better with the changing environment and world. Training activities should be maintained, to achieve the standards and solve the problems, career development activities will help the employees to enhance their competencies, reinforce strength, broaden outlook, overcome limitations etc.

Increase Organizational Commitment

Training increases the organizational commitment of the employees; employees training involve more than basic skills, the commitment among employees increases, employees will work hard for the organizational goals, if they are trained, understand the things; they will be knowledgeable, and thus their performance will be affective in a positive way. Staff will be more efficient and highly motivated, for the team development, adequate programs are needed, to increase employees performance and productivity (Yawson, 2009).

Develops the (Cognitive, Spiritual, Physical) Dimensions of the Employee

If employees are, properly trained and they know that, they can perform better, than their motivation towards their work will be increases, and they will be satisfied. Organizations need to invest on the human development program; in this way, satisfaction and trust will take place. When employees are satisfied and want to give their best, it will be significant for the organizational goals; there is need of proper strategic planning and senior management should recognize the significance of training. If human or employees are satisfied, more opportunities will take place, communication, rapport within the staff or tem members increases, which can result in higher productivity.

Improve Job Performance

The performance of the employees could also be increase with the training and development programs, the innovation, opportunities will take place, and the employees will feel responsibility at their part. They feel responsibility to complete the organization mission and goals, if organization give them equal opportunities in the training then their special needs will be fulfill and their performance and satisfaction will be raise. In training when, there is talk about their interests and preference, and result in social dialogues, and then they will get comfortable with the environment and feel themselves important for their company (Saks, Haccoun, & Belcourt, 2010).

When the new and existing employees, are successfully train, they will contribute towards development of the organization.  For employees to understand the internal and external environment of any organization is very important, through training they can contribute towards flexibility, they will able to change themselves with the changing environment, one can understand the social trends easily and can get awareness about the organizational aspects.

Employee’s interpersonal skills will also develop, when employees interact with each other’s, during training their passion towards their work will be increases, and they will become confident, secured and protected. Through investing in human capital, company culture can be more effective and more valuable firm will contribute towards the society. The company goals could be achieved if employees have the interpersonal skills, the through employees satisfaction there will be increase in productivity.

Training will create an interesting and challenging environment within the organization, when employees are train they will perform better and ready to face the challenge, the competition within the organization will increase. When employees understand the culture of organization properly, there will be less turnover rate and conflicts within the group members, through training employees will be satisfies, and if they know, their issues will be resolved by the effective management, there will be less or no conflicts. During training when they come to know that they will be rewarded for on extra or good performance, their do work more efficiently and effectively. The company or organization will increase its productivity in this sense and employees could be persuaded to do more work.

Increase Knowledge

Knowledge of employees increases; he/she get knowledge about total environment, and when he is comfortable with the environment, his performance will be better. Investing on human resource, through training, improve the employee capability in the organization, when the organization invest on computer or other machineries, it cost can be deprived after one year or more. However, when organization invest on the training of employees, their performance will be better with the time, so investing on individual or employees is better than any other machinery, because human capital or employees are the best asset for any organization. Therefore, when they better knowledge about organization and understand their work properly, they will automatically perform better.

Employees help to achieve organizational goals, if they are trained and their skills are developed, employees are trained so they can participate to achieve the organizational goals, they can use advance technology, sufficiently knowledgeable staff, will adapt the company ability and increase his/her performance. They will be more efficient, effective and highly motivated, company can build or improve employee morale; adequate human resource will help in expansion of new programs, their productivity will be increases and they will show interest towards organizational goals. However, there is need of proper supervision to gain efficient, in financial gains (Yawson, 2009).

The creativity of the employees takes place when they are trained, and have sense of well-being, dignity, self-worth etc. These factors will give them sense of satisfaction, from the achievement of personal, and organizational goals, through achieving the goals, they will want to show more interest towards organization and creativity will be there. Through training company, ensure the culture of innovation, creativity, and learning. When employees are secured and have new ways to grow, their interest will be developing, and skills will be enhanced. They will deliver quality work, product and services.

Acquire Technical Skill

Employees will also acquire technical skills, they will come to know how their performance could be better and they will learn from their managers, leaders or supervisors, they would come to know how to manage the task technically, example, how maximum productivity could be offered in less time or with less or fewer resources (Bulut & Culha, 2010).

Workforce or employees will be competent and show efficient performance, when they are trained and have fully knowledge about organizational goals, the mission of organization will be their mission, and they will work hard for the organization vision, they will try their best to achieve long-term and short term goals. They will work for the future strategies, and they will contribute to make future strategies, which will be beneficial for the organization or company. Through training, they will come to know about all methods and technology, and the environment of the organization, the will also get knowledge about, present and future, social, political, economical and technological environments.

Employee engagement will be there during and after training process, employees are fully involved, in their work, and strengthen their commitment towards job, and the organization. The employees who are fully engaged with their work, and their company they give benefits to the company, and company can get the competitive advantage. Training play, an important role in any organization, better customers’ service and less turn over. To understand about the employee engagement, the realization of employee participation through training is important, training gives an opportunity, to the employee, for personal growth, and through flexibility, they mange the personal learning, while balancing the responsibilities and commitment to the organization.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for the change and continuous learning in the organization, managers need to do improvement, and encourage employees to share the knowledge, with colleagues and them. Managers should empower the employees, to share knowledge and identify the problems, they should make decisions, and they think should be implemented. If there is continuous learning within the organization, then organization will lead towards success, because organizations will acquire more knowledge to implement, with the fast moving world.

Training Goals

Training goals are the achieved after the assessment process, the strategic plan of the company or organization, which are include to help employees are known as training goals; the purpose of training goals is to give knowledge to the employees, about the organization mission and goals. Setting goals help the managers and to evaluate the, training program, and also motivates the employee, setting goals often, increases the probability of success (Noe, 2012).

Training Methods

There are two broad types of training process, on-the-job techniques and off-the-job techniques.

On-the-job training is delivered to the employees, while, they are performing the regular routine work or task, after the plan is developed, then it should be taught to employees, and employees should be informed about the details. There is a timetable, which do periodic evaluation of the employees, on-job-training includes everything about job, example, job instructions training, internship, assistantship etc.

Off-the-job techniques include the techniques, which involves, lectures, films, discussion, case study, programmed instruction, laboratory trainings etc. some companies use verbal presentation, and other have written presentation. No matter what method is used, the important is to train the employees, for the better productivity or output by their performances. Newcomer should be given more importance or focus, at the place of employment because he/she may face difficulties in performing or give their best. Therefore, they should be helped by the training techniques, so they get comfortable, with the environment. Training techniques are depending on effective decision-making, realistic situation should be discussed in the training with the employees (Walsha & Schynsa, 2010).

Training Administrations

To carry out training programs properly, there is need to plan the program, careful attention is needed, to contribute towards success of the training program. Administration should know and design the training programs according to the need of the organization, for an effective training program, administration should follow the organizational objectives, determining the needs of training program, defining training program, decide whom should be trained, administer the training and evaluate the training programs. These programs can successfully give advantages to the training needs of employees; will increase effectiveness, to meet the expectations (Iles, Chuai, & Preece, 2010).

Evaluation of the Training

Training should be evaluated several times, during the process, when training is developed, employees should be evaluated, by their acquired skills. The comparison between the newly acquired skills, and old skills should be done, that what organization teaches to the employees, by the evaluation an organization comes to know about its fault and if the organization is lacking in some process of training then improvement is needed. The adjustments should be needed in the evaluation process; timely evaluation is needed to stay focus on the goals, training is not the one time activity, no individual or employee can learn from one time, there is need of continuous training that should be given to the employees, organization need to adapt new knowledge, job coasting and monitoring increase effectiveness.

The companies or organization need to evaluate their training programs and effectiveness should measure the behavior and attitude changes, for the effectiveness of the training processes and result continuous improvement and focus of trainees are need, expert advices should be there, by identifying the gaps in the training, customer and employee’s satisfaction could take place. For the assessment of the training need, assessment should be done before the, training programs are developed, identifying the specific problem should be the highest priority of any organization, management need top supported directly, to improve the employee job performance. The data should be develop for the evaluation, cost and benefits, should be assess as well as the, benefits of the improved job performance (Hutchinson & Purcell, 2010).

Human resources management is important for the training process, for the professional workforce, recruitment process should be adopted by the organization, to maintain the desired staff. The training of the existing and new staff can maintain skills level, the compensation packages, will motivate and retain the staff. During training if employees know, that their poor performance will lead them towards failure, they will try to avoid poor performance or laziness.

Need for Transformation

There is need of transformation in the organizations, employees training and development should be developed, organization need to develop the strategies to support the, training processes and should admit the changes, with the growing world. Significant strategies should be imposed obligation, for all the organizations, management and top managers should recognize the importance of the training programs. Training should be promoted, worthy investment should be done for the discovery of the new policies.

In the present world, environment of organizations are relying on the, organizational knowledge and its employees, for the comparative advantage, timely and appropriate answers to challenges is the key towards success. The management of human resource, especially the programs of training and development, plays an important role, in any business. Through training programs, employees can learn about the organization and can grater the rate of change through creativity and effective decision-makings. If training is, continue to grow in any organization then, there will be innovations on product and services, and performance regarding productivity, of the organization will be better. From training processes, there will be motivation and prosperity within the organization.
