Experience Children’s Museum Business Operations Analysis

Summary and Conclusion

The Children’s Museum Environment encourages children to use their imagination when studying. Experience Children’s Museum is a 501-C3 non-profit corporation based on the 400 block of French Street in Erie, PA. The museum focuses on early childhood learning and has educational programs set up for children between the ages of six months and nine years old. They have celebrity performances as well as 25-floor displays that can be accessed at any time. The museum also brings in rental shows throughout the year to help draw the public and give the children new ways to learn.

The Experience Children’s Museum was first opened in 1995 and has experienced growth ever since. The museum now brings in over 60,000 guests per year. Over the last few years, memberships have tripled and now average out at around 1,300 yearly memberships. Local Erie schools across the city often utilise the museum to send their children and students on field trips and explore what the museum has to bring. The field trips are free to the schools, and bus transportation is taken care of by the museum. Last year, 5,000 pupils and their fellow students toured the museum on field trips. The Experience Children’s Museum is an excellent place for children to learn and develop their minds.
