People now a day love to do shopping. They whenever had time they like to go out for buying some things related to their basic needs such as shoes, clothes, jewelry, ornaments, cosmetic items, food and beverages, home decorating, flooring interiors, kids necessaries for schooling and sports etc. Now day’s ready made items made the life so much easy as comfortable that it would not be so much comfortable and quick before in the old times.
In old times, it was very difficult to go out to shop something because the stores or shops, which have the required products, have far away from the societies where people use to live. There is a time when there is no money people uses barter system, which is exchange of one thing from one person to another person through any other product.
People fulfills there all needs with the help of this system for example if one person has rice but he needs wheat he go outside and waits at a corner of road for such person who has wheat or go to such persons home. That person is also in need of rice. He gave him his sack of rice and take sack of wheat from him. This will solve the problem of both the consumer’s needs.
Time passes gradually and shopping system has changed due to invention of money. It was first in terms of coins invented. Now there are many brands of one product available at every store in a society. People can easily purchase the things from where ever they want. The prices of the products are also different at different places and their came a difference of quality as well. Now a day people introduced so much brands of one product, which is making user, confused that what to purchase and what to leave. Users have many options to select from in every necessity they required. In clothes now a days has many brands.
These brands have a difference of price but have same quality. Now with the revolution in technology people now have access on internet as well using social media apps make people close to each other and well aware of everything. Now retailers introduce their brand or other products on social media with an offer to buy them online by ordering while sitting at home. This facility helps people to save time. In the start when this online shopping facility were launched there was a problem with the selection of things.
Most of the time it happened that people ordered the thing was different when received and there was no exchange offer on that so people leave this way of shopping due to this big draw back. After considering this problem into account online sellers improves there working quality with the same item order, delivered, and added exchange offer in it as well.
This enhances people trust on online sellers of consumers. Now a day people use to do an activity, which is that people go to the original shop check the price, and quality of the product but did not buy it at that time. They use to wait for the sale on that product when there is less demand of that brand. When there is a sale, they purchase it with a low price this trick is good because mostly people have low income they have a right to use good quality products this way of shopping fulfills their need and want to look equal like others.
This way of shopping is also not good because when you go to a shop retailer shows you everything and gives you a lot of time to satisfy you. He will satisfy you but you still did not buy anything from him and wastes his time and energy as well. This is sometimes disturbs a shopkeeper and made him feel insulting. I think this is correct because me being a mediocre has an average salary to run my home I have to bear many other expenses of my home. If same quality product I found would be on low price as it was on regular then it will help me to fulfill my other, necessary expenses with thaw shopping of a good brand as well. It will not burdens my little pocket.
It is concluded that shopping ethics are that people must shop something from a shop where they spends a lot of time in selection. People should not take it as a joke that the person sitting in that store has this job to give them time. He has to handle many other customers also. The argument concludes that selecting a thing from the store and waiting for his prices to become low is not a very bad thing. Sometimes there is a customer with low salary can manage to buy the same product for its use so that he can walk equally with the people of high salary.
