Sentence Building Activity

Material Needed
Word strips pasted on card tray, bowl or bag.
Procedure: Each student will have a word-card with several words arranged under one another. Each student will have a different set of words small single word strips will be put in a tray or bowl certain numbers occurring again and again will be corresponding repetition of words on stops teacher will pick out and read the strips or will show it to the students. Anyone who will have the same word on his card will claim it if 2 claims one the first one to claim would get it and at the end students will put those strips together and will form compound words or sentences based on their knowledge about usage of vocabulary.
